A SHAPE IS NOT A SIZE CHART
Start with the line.
Look at the construction. Ask about the actual fit.
Neckline changes the layering picture
A rounded crew neck gives a closed frame; a tall folded turtleneck extends it upward; a V-neck opens it downward. A button cardigan has an openable front, while a half zip changes the collar opening. Think about an underlayer and the outerwear you already use rather than assuming every sweater has the same purpose.
Compare the full sleeve and body
Look at the complete garment, not a close-up knit texture alone. Ask for body length, chest width, sleeve length and relevant shoulder details for the actual size. Compare those measurements with a sweater you already find comfortable. A photograph does not establish stretch or a fit guarantee.
Straight and wide are different lines
Straight jeans keep a near-parallel leg. Wide-leg jeans carry noticeably more width along the entire leg. Both can be full length, but neither name tells you the actual rise, hip room, inseam or hem measurement. Ask for those details for your requested size.
Flare and taper move in opposite directions
A flare expands below the knee. A taper narrows toward the ankle. Look at both full legs and their hems to see that difference. Footwear and your intended hem position are useful discussion points; they are not reasons to guess exact measurements.
Cropped describes a shorter construction
The turned cuffs and shorter legs distinguish the cropped entry. Where those cuffs land on a person depends on actual garment measurements. Confirm inseam and cuff details rather than assigning a universal ankle position from the image.
Materials and care need actual information
Visible knit or denim texture is not a fiber certificate. Ask about actual composition, finish, care labeling and cleaning guidance. Until those details are confirmed, do not assume machine washability, shrink resistance, stretch performance or ethical manufacturing claims.
Keep the buying conversation concrete
Share the product name, preferred size and the measurements or construction details you want confirmed. Review the USD product subtotal, then agree taxes, delivery, availability and payment directly. A saved request is not a reservation or a paid order.
